Phil Sorgen Joins Fusion Agiletech Partners, Inc. Board

Microsoft Executive Brings Deep Digital Transformation Expertise to Firm and its Digital Technology Consulting Subsidiary, Quisitive

Fusion Agiletech Partners, based in Toronto, Canada, announced Microsoft Corporate Vice President of US Enterprise Commercial Phil Sorgen has joined its Board of Directors. Sorgen is an expert in driving digital transformation for commercial enterprises.

With more than two decades at Microsoft, Phil Sorgen now leads the organization serving the largest commercial customers in the US by helping them to deliver on the promise of digital transformation using Microsoft’s industry-leading cloud services. In this role, Sorgen leads US enterprise sales and customer success teams, including national, industry and technical teams. Prior to his current position, he served as Microsoft’s channel chief, setting the strategy for an ecosystem encompassing a network of diverse partner organizations worldwide. In addition to other leadership roles within Microsoft, he previously spent three-plus years as President of Microsoft Canada, responsible for all elements of Microsoft’s Canadian business and for deepening Microsoft’s commitment to the Canadian market.

“Phil has a tremendous perspective on the Microsoft partner ecosystem,” said Mike Reinhart, Fusion Agiletech CEO and Quisitive President. “Thanks to his experience leading industry-aligned teams in oil and gas, retail and financial services, his depth of knowledge around profitability and packaged IP, and his strength in business consulting and technology services, he fully understands the profile of the ideal future Microsoft partners, and the importance of IT consultancy. His contribution to the board will be highly valuable as we fulfill our strategy and commitment to Quisitive.”

Fusion Agiletech acquired Quisitive, a Microsoft National Solution Provider, in January with the intent to build the Dallas-based national digital technology consulting firm into the industry’s premier Microsoft Consulting Services firm over the next two years, bringing high value to Microsoft and their customers. The Fusion board will oversee Quisitive’s Microsoft-aligned IT services strategy and product development strategy, including blockchain, cloud, and agile software development technologies, with plans to take the company public.

“With the acquisition of Quisitive, Fusion has an exciting mission ahead of it,” said Sorgen. “I look forward to lending my knowledge of digital transformation and my experience helping enterprises capitalize on emerging market opportunities such as blockchain, agile development and the cloud to assist and guide Quisitive in its quest to become the premier Microsoft partner in North America.”

Sorgen joins Fusion Agiletech CEO and Quisitive President Mike Reinhart on the Fusion board. Fusion Agiletech will round out its Board of Directors with additional board members in the coming months.
