Kerio Technologies, a provider of communications and security solutions,†has launched a new Kerio Cloud infrastructure to support channel partners selling to†small and mid-sized businesses.
Kerio Cloud combines†Kerio’s messaging and collaboration capabilities with an automated provisioning, billing, and online tool for partners to manage customer mailboxes and settings on a secure cloud infrastructure.
“Kerio is focused on meeting the needs of SMBs and the partners they rely on for technical advice, procurement, and support,” says Mirek Kren, CEO of Kerio Technologies. “Some partners have the resources and know-how to self-host, but for those who don’t have the infrastructure in place or are concerned with data security and liability, there hasn’t been an easy way to profitably provide the cloud services SMBs need.”
Kerio Cloud is built on an SSAE 16 / SAS 70 and PCI audited fully managed private data center. Kerio partners can manage their cloud deployments, including provisioning mailboxes and options for their customers, through an online billing and account management tool.
“We’re making it easy for partners to deliver award-winning messaging and collaboration as a cloud service,” says Richard Gooding, VP marketing of Kerio Technologies. “Kerio provides the technology and secure hosting infrastructure, and the partner adds their local presence and customer intimacy.”
The company offers two pricing plans for Kerio Cloud – Business and Business Pro. The Business plan starts at $4.99/month for a 10GB Kerio Connect mailbox, basic spam and virus protection, CalDAV/CardDAV/IMAP, and optional unlimited email archiving. For an unlimited Kerio Connect mailbox, additional advanced spam and virus protection, plus Exchange ActiveSync, partners and customers can choose the Business Pro plan at $8.99/month.
