Acer has introduced two new tablets, the Iconia Tab 8 W and Iconia Tab 10, and expanded the Iconia One series with the addition of the Iconia One 8.
Iconia Tab 8 W
The Acer Iconia Tab 8 W is an 8-inch tablet designed for both work and play. Running on the newest Windows 8.1 with Bing, the Iconia Tab 8 W comes with a one-year complementary Microsoft Office 365 Personal for full access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook. Additional features include:
- Size/Weight: 9.75 millimeters/.38 inches and 370 grams/.8 pounds
- Up to 8 hours of battery life
- 1280×800 HD display with IPS technology for wide viewing angles
- Intel Atom Z3735G quad-core processor
- Micro USB port and Micro SP port

Iconia Tab 10
Designed to provide an immersive entertainment experience, the Iconia Tab 10 with 10.1-inch FHD screen features:
- Two built-in speakers and Dolby Digital Plus converts two-channel stereo audio into 5.1 channels over stereo headphones
- Zero Air Gap with IPS technology for wide viewing angles and readability under sunlight
- The anti-fingerprint coating technology reduces smudging
- Corning Gorilla Glass for damage and scratch resistance
- Micro HDMI port and Wireless Display capability
- Android 4.4 (KitKat) and is powered by a MediaTek quad- core processor
Iconia One 8
Acer is expanding the Iconia One series with a larger 8-inch screen and faster processing with an Intel Atom †Z3735G quad-core processor. The Iconia One 8 comes in 10 colors to match the user’s personal style. Measuring only 8.5 millimeters (.3 inches) thin and weighing less than 340 grams (.7 pounds), the Iconia One 8 is small enough to slip into a small bag and be carried everywhere. Additional features include:
- 1280×800 HD display
- Zero Air Gap and IPS technology
- Anti-fingerprint coating technology to prevent smudging
- Android 4.4 (KitKat) and powered by an Intel quad-core processor
The Iconia Tab 8 W will be available in November at a starting price of $149.99 (USD), and the Iconia Tab 10 will be available in September at a starting price of $199 (USD). The Iconia One 8 will be available in October at a starting price of $149.99 (USD).
