GFI Software has expanded its offerings to its MSP partners through the GFI MAX platform with the new integration of GFI VIPRE Antivirus into the GFI MAX RemoteManagement dashboard. This allows MSPs to offer managed antivirus from their GFI MAX dashboard and capitalize on the demand for managed security services.
“The core proposition for us is that we want to be as easy as possible to help MSPs do business with us,” says Dr. Alistair Forbes, GFI MAX general manager for GFI Software. “It’s rebrandable and is low cost to deliver as part of [an MSP’s] service portfolio. The idea is to be part of the MSPs’ arsenal of tools that they use to deliver service.”
The GFI MAX Dashboard allows MSPs to remotely manage all of their customers’ networks in one consolidated view. With this new addition, managed antivirus services can also be deployed to these same networks. The features include:
- Automatic deployment to any server or workstation managed by GFI MAX RemoteManagement
- Custom configuration, including scheduling scans and specifying actions if threats are detected
- Real-time notifications when a virus is detected or a threat is quarantined
- Compile comprehensive reports for customers
- Monthly per-device usage is automatically tracked for recurring billing purposes
