The BDR solution seeks to put basic data protection services in reach of SMBs with modest needs and limited budgets. The desktop care package features a modernized interface and workflow automation functionality, among other new features.

The acquisition positions the managed services software maker to add a more robust threat intelligence engine, mobile-friendly interface, and multilingual code base to its MSP Mail security, archiving, and continuity solution.

The new addition to the vendor’s Unbox managed infrastructure-as-a-service platform emails MSPs or an MSP’s ticketing system when services need attention.

Built around a completely new three-panel design, the revamped GUI seeks to boost technician productivity by providing more customization options and allowing MSPs to align their ticketing process more closely with service level agreement commitments.

Due to reach market this quarter, the new release will integrate with Kaseya’s RMM solution to let IT infrastructure managers address technical issues and perform maintenance tasks through a single interface.

The new enhancements aim to simplify the selling and management of VIPRE solutions for channel partners.
