More than 6,000 agents, MSPs, VARs, consultants, integrators, service providers gather for three days of education and networking in Las Vegas.

Six months after Cisco’s multi-billion-dollar purchase of multifactor authentication vendor Duo Security, both companies are barreling down the road toward offering bundled solutions and combining separate partner programs into one.

Users of Splashtop Remote Support can now deploy Bitdefender’s Antimalware Security Tools solution to managed endpoints from within the Splashtop console and then view the protection status of those devices.

New features added to the system include Azure Active Directory synchronization, automated anti-phishing campaign setup, access to InfoArmor’s advanced threat intelligence platform, and real-time dark web monitoring notifications.

The two-day event is geared to help MSPs grow their business, help their customers transition to the cloud, and increase monthly recurring revenue opportunities.

Announced on the same day as a resale agreement with threat detection and response vendor Perch Security, the new system is part of a larger, evolving push by ConnectWise into the massive and growing market for security solutions and services.

Part of the vendor’s increasingly strategic device-as-a-service program, the new offering is part of a larger shift from transactional to contractual customer relationships highlighted today by CEO Dion Weisler (pictured) at HP’s Reinvent conference.

The new offerings, which include end-to-end professional services, managed security services, and cloud migration services, are targeted at members of Palo Alto’s NextWave partner program building cybersecurity and cloud practices.

The security vendor is staffing up on support, signing integration pacts with RMM makers, and more, according to channel chief Joe Sykora (pictured), who says a new tiered partner program structure with bigger discounts for top sellers is coming soon too.

Announced in conjunction with this year’s RSA Conference in San Francisco, both offerings are core elements of an MSP recruitment initiative backed by volume discounts and flexible billing options.
