The new tools, both of which are unusual offerings from security vendors, are designed to help MSPs build and operate scalable, efficient, and profitable security service practices, according to Acronis CTO Oleg Melnikov (pictured).

Trained to handle complex cybersecurity issues, former federal agents and others can help MSPs better protect themselves and their clients’ businesses.

The new functionality warns users of the RMM solution, which was struck by a sophisticated attack last summer, of anomalous activity signaling a potential breach.

Set to ship in the next month, the new functionality will add richer support for user and license management plus faster ticket resolution. Premium editions of that Engage and Augmentt Discover are due in the first half of 2023.
