Delivered through StratoZen, the managed security services allow MSPs to outsource oversight of Fortinet hardware-as-a-service solutions. The encryption service, provided by Encryptics, offers subscription-priced protection for data beyond the corporate network.

The system seeks to give device makers and MSPs improved protection, visibility, and control over IoT hardware.

The new functionality augments earlier compliance automation capabilities for the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. Additional modules for PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and other standards are in development

The two organizations aim to help managed service providers and managed security service providers more easily and efficiently administer security awareness training for their clients.

The former Sienna Group LLC will now be the ConnectWise Cybersecurity Center of Excellence. Its goal, according to ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini (pictured), will be closing the gap between demand for security expertise and available supply in the channel.

Available in both free and advanced editions, the new functionality automatically searches for advanced persistent threats, keyloggers, malicious registry changes, and other intrusions that have gained a foothold on monitored end points.

The new program bundles security, backup, and eLearning products into standard Office 365 plans at no extra cost.

According to CEO Arnie Bellini (pictured), core elements of the initiative include the launch of an open source security integration standard and the introduction of new cybersecurity solutions, some of which will compete with products from ConnectWise partners.

Formerly available as a stand-alone product or add-on to any edition of Beachhead’s PC encryption and access management solution, SimplySecure USB is now exclusively available as a free, standard feature of SimplySecure PC Premium.
