Named X360, the new unified entry point for all of Axcient’s products is part of a larger campaign to make buying and delivering business availability solutions simpler for MSPs.

Announced by CEO Jason Magee (pictured), the blockbuster deals add BDR, security, and documentation to a lineup that already included RMM, PSA, quoting, and remote control, positioning ConnectWise to offer one of the industry’s most complete portfolios for MSPs.

Named ConnectWise Engage and powered by technology from PRM vendor Webinfinity, the new system is the latest expression of ConnectWise’s ambition to offer single-pane-of-glass access to all of the tools and resources MSPs need to serve customers.

The deal is intended to make pursuing public sector opportunities easier for Tech Data partners while providing access to specialized products tailored to the government market and more than 50 government contract vehicles.

Aimed at organizations with fewer than 25 employees, the new system utilizes a cloud-based artificial intelligence to identify and block top-ranked threats.

Announced alongside a new desktop application with significantly enhanced functionality, the company’s “business messaging” technology is designed to serve as an alternative to Slack and Microsoft Teams for organizations with less than 250 users.

The new offerings include a platform for adding workflow automation apps to multifunction printers, a centralized console for managing MFPs and their apps remotely, and tools for securing that hardware and software.

Introduced in conjunction with The 20’s annual VISION conference this week, the reduced rates apply to SimplySecure 6.5, a new edition of Beachhead’s flagship encryption and access control solution that shipped last week.

Integration with HPE’s StoreOnce solution for cost-effective data archiving is coming as well in the first half of next year.

The new feature automatically checks BRC and Replibit snapshots overnight for incomplete backups, data corruption, malware that renders backups unbootable, and other potentially serious issues before they interfere with recovery failovers.
