The developers of the cloud-based DataMotion Platform are touting their release among channel pros, saying it provides a “unified, secured, and compliant cloud-based hub for delivering messages, files, and form.”
Cloud-based data delivery services provider DataMotion has announced its DataMotion Platform, a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solution aimed.
The DataMotion Platform is designed to improve traditional approaches that SMBs take in securing data-delivery services and “data-in-motion” across various communications channels. It is designed to do this by providing a unified, secured, and compliant cloud-based hub for delivering messages, files, and form.
As part of its version announcement, DataMotion made an appeal to channel partners, stating that the PaaS offering enables VARs to “add technology expertise to their portfolio, generate recurring revenue, and provide the best tools to help their customers securely exchange information.”
Pete Cafarchio, DataMotion’s vice president of business development, adds that the PaaS enables SMBs to “integrate disparate systems effortlessly, in a fully auditable manner secured by military-grade encryption.”
The DataMotion Platform PaaS is based on a pay-as-you-go business options, designed to enable organizations to move from smaller deployments to scaled-up versions. Additional features of the platform include:
- On-demand reporting, rendered through a Web interface or parsable format.
- Easy-to-use encryption, requiring no public key infrastructure (PKI).
- Transparent integration with leading applications, including Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Novell GroupWise, Salesforce.com, and Citrix as well as smartphone and tablet devices.
