All new enhanced AVG AntiVirus for Android and Avast Mobile Security apps tackles increase in mobile threats

MobileIron announced its Apple Release which addresses the growing need for enterprises to provide employees with the option of using a Mac. The release also features day zero compatibility support for iOS 11, which is expected to be released by Apple later this month.

The new offerings combine formerly discrete equivalents from Avast itself and AVG, the security and managed services vendor it purchased last year.

Called Domain Discover, the system combines proactive fraudulent domain scanning with Proofpoint’s threat intelligence network to stop lookalike domain email attacks before they strike.

Kaspersky Lab†introduced its next generation of Kaspersky Private Security Network, a private version of Kaspersky Security Network (KSN). Kaspersky Private Security Network allows enterprises to boost their detection speed with access to real-time global threat intelligence from 80 million sensors, without sharing any data outside their corporate network.

Now known as Westcon-Comstor Americas, those businesses will operate as a SYNNEX subsidiary with complementary expertise in security, unified communications, and networking.
