The new edition of ELO’s entry-level content management system includes OCR support, backup functionality, and scenario-specific document repository templates. The customized solution service lets partners outsource application development to ELO programmers.

The new offerings give the vendor’s MSP partners visibility into endpoint status and self-serve access to sales, marketing, and training resources for the first time, according to CEO Jay Ryerse (pictured).

Provided at no cost, the new functionality enables MSPs to patch over 100 third-party applications widely used by SMBs centrally and automatically.

The former Autotask CEO sees upside in the blockbuster deal for the two companies involved and the MSPs they do business with, but wonders how long their commitment to openness and integration with third parties will last.

The three new systems, which are designed to help SMBs run marketing campaigns, manage their social media presence, and generate invoices, are now included with both Microsoft 365 Business and Office 365 Business Premium.
