LG-Ericsson Launches Two Unmanaged PoE Switches

The new switches include an eight-port and a sixteen-port option, both with PoE. By ChannelPro

LG-Ericsson has launched two new iPECS switches – the iPECS ES-1008P eight-port and the ES-1016P sixteen-port Fast Ethernet unmanaged switches with PoE. The new switches provide power and connectivity instantly but also work for long-term device connections, including PCs, wireless access points, IP cameras, IP phones, and more.

Each port adjusts automatically for the best speed and transmission mode, known as auto-negotiation, and store-and-forward switching architecture prevents the transmission of bad packets. With four IEEE802.3af PoE ports on the iPECS ES-1008P and eight on the iPECS ES-1016P, installation is simplified.

Available through the channel, the new unmanaged PoE switches can help partners simplify the installation of network devices and maintain safe network traffic for their customers.
