Earlier this year, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for all Windows 7 and 8.1 users if done within the first year of release. Today at the WinHEC technology conference in Shenzhen, China, Microsoft's Terry Myerson revealed that Windows 10 will be a free upgrade to users regardless of whether the current Windows installation is genuine or not. - read more
