Kofax Touts Latest Oracle-Validated Integration
The company’s MarkView for Accounts Payable solution has achieved Oracle-Validated Integration with the Oracle E-Business Suite release 12.1.
Document management solutions provider Kofax plc announced last week that its MarkView for Accounts Payable solution has achieved Oracle-Validated Integration with the Oracle E-Business Suite release 12.1. The announcement came in conjunction with Kofax’s participation at Oracle OpenWorld 2010 in San Francisco.
The MarkView for Accounts Payable solution is part of the MarkView Financial Suite, a financial process automation platform for accounts payable and other functions. It automates the receipt and capture of paper and electronic invoices, performs data extraction and perfection, and manages workflows for routing transactions through approval and exception handling processes.
According to Oracle’s senior director of ISV and SaaS strategy Kevin O’Brien, the Oracle Validation Integration moniker will give MarkView for Accounts Payable a boost in brand confidence. “It gives customers confidence that the integration between Kofax’s MarkView for Accounts Payable and the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 has been validated and the products work together as designed,” he says. “This can help reduce risk, improve system implementation cycles, and provide for smoother upgrades and simpler maintenance.”
Kofax CEO Martyn Christian says his company will enjoy a “significant advantage” over its customers due to the validation. “Our partnership with Oracle has been instrumental in helping customers realize a rapid return on investment by reducing costs through consistent, efficient automation for accounts payable processes,” he says.
Oracle-Validated Integration applies “a rigorous technical process to review the integrations of third-party software to Oracle Applications products, including productized repeatable integrations from system integrators,” states a Kofax press release submitted to EH Publishing. Oracle provides access to Oracle Applications software, tools, technical resources, and training based on Oracle standards and best practices.
