Based on technology from threat monitoring and management vendor Trusted Metrics, which SolarWinds has purchased, the new system offers multitenant intrusion detection, log management, threat intelligence, and more in one subscription-priced package.

The new patch management, threat security, and endpoint detection and response offerings are the latest additions to the vendor’s MSP Security Suite.

The acquisition is intended to expand threat detection and response to AT&T Business customers.

Held last week in Hershey, Pa., the distributor’s Mid-Atlantic Summer Technology Show offered nearly 1,000 attendees a host of meet, greet, and learning opportunities.

The newest addition to the ConnectWise product family, which currently provides centralized control over cloud computing solutions, will soon perform similar functions for backup and security solutions from ConnectWise’s vendor partners.
