In recent months, the IT management software vendor has rolled out “net promoter score” surveys and monthly executive reviews aimed at easing customer recruiting costs by boosting customer retention rates.

The new edition includes tools for defining and marketing service plans, as well as direct integration with ConnectWise and Autotask PSA software and a new Linux-based virtual appliance deployment option that dramatically lowers acquisition costs.

That’s according to the Usman Choudhary (pictured), the vendor’s chief product officer, who says that usability—especially on mobile devices—can be the single most important factor in a security system’s effectiveness.

The IT management software vendor also integrated the recently introduced product, which automatically discovers and backs up documents and other files on workstations, with its cloud-based RMM solution and added support for larger files.

The ITaaS solution provider says the tool will help MSPs estimate the cost of running IT in Azure.

At its IT Nation conference today, CEO Arnie Bellini (pictured) showcased ConnectWise’s new Unite portal and forthcoming Developer Kit as key elements of a larger plan to provide one platform for managing every solution an MSP offers.

By the end of 2018, the company told conference-goers today, ConnectWise Automate will have an entirely Web-based interface. A new tool for supporting devices that conventional remote access solutions can’t connect with, meanwhile, will debut in Q2.

The network security vendor’s firewalls can now open, close, and reopen tickets in Autotask’s PSA solution automatically. The new Firebox devices, meanwhile, offer small and home office users significant security inspection performance improvements.

New functionality available now and arriving early next year will consolidate multiple, related tickets involving the same device, allow administrators to remote into endpoints from inside a ticket with a single click, and more.

The new offerings give the vendor’s MSP partners visibility into endpoint status and self-serve access to sales, marketing, and training resources for the first time, according to CEO Jay Ryerse (pictured).
