At Intel Developer Forum 2013 today, Google and Intel introduced a fresh, new lineup of Chromebooks using Intel processors based on the Haswell microarchitecture, including a lead design from HP, followed by systems from Acer, Toshiba and a Chromebox from ASUS. Just in time for the holidays, these newly designed Intel-based Chromebooks use less power while offering increased performance and amazing battery life.

Intel today announced IntelÆ XDK NEW, the next generation of HTML5 cross-platform app development tools from Intel that help enable developers to shorten time from idea to app store. Enhancements include a streamlined workflow, a new integrated editor designed specifically for HTML5, a new round-trip UI-builder tool that simplifies responsive design, and expanded API support. With Intel XDK NEW, developers can more easily create Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows 8, and Tizen store-ready apps.
