SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 25, 2013 — Intel Corporation’s board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 22.5 cents per share (90 cents per share on an annual basis) on the company’s common stock. The dividend will be payable on Dec. 1, 2013, to stockholders of record on Nov. 7, 2013.

For the second consecutive year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Green Power Leadership Awards recognized Intel for “Sustained Excellence in Green Power.” Since 2008, Intel has been the nation’s largest voluntary purchaser of green power. Today during his keynote at Oracle OpenWorld, Intel Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Software and Services Group, Doug Fisher, outlined a new era of innovation and data mining that will help drive the evolution of IT.

For the seventh consecutive year, Intel was included in the 2013 Working Mother 100 Best Companies list. Working Mother recognized Intel for its consistent quality-of-life improvements and commitment to progressive workplace programs, including home-based child care with flexible hours. At IDF this week, Intel announced that the Thunderbolt device ecosystem is now at over 100 certified devices, with a majority supporting both Mac and Windows OS environments. New usages and form factors continue to emerge, including new high-resolution responsive docks, palm-size drives and dongles, all which were demonstrated or shown at IDF.

Intel Enterprise Platforms and Services Division (EPSD) has announced that the entire IntelÆ S2600 server motherboard and system product line fully supports the recently released IntelÆ XeonÆ E5 2600/1600 Processor V2 families. EPSD’s S2600 products include full support for the IntelÆ XeonÆ E5 Processor V2’s 12 cores, the processor’s performance boost of up to 50% over previous generations, and have the capability to support the processor’s 1.5GB maximum memory capacity.

As a result of a longstanding innovation collaboration between Intel and SAP, the Intel Distribution for Apache Hadoop (Intel Distribution) will now be offered with the SAP HANA platform to provide a comprehensive solution designed for real-time big data analytics. With performance optimizations for Intel hardware as well as encryption and decryption improvements for better security, the combination of the Intel Distribution with SAP HANA will offer enterprises an analytics solution that is secure and scalable to unlock intelligence from data to transform businesses.

Today Intel announced availability of its 4th generation IntelÆ Core vPro processor at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) by revealing 70 upcoming designs including 2 in 1s, Ultrabook devices, laptops, all-in-ones and desktop PCs ideal for the business environment. The 4th generation Intel Core vPro processor-based platform offers end users IntelÆ Pro Wireless Display, Intel Pro1500 solid-state drives, no password VPN log in and indoor location-based services.
