During a virtual partner conference today, Eric Thompson (pictured) and others offered details on the new Intel Partner Alliance and extolled the advantages it will offer over previously separate programs for solution providers, OEMs, and ISVs, among others.

Endpoint protection products from Panda Security, which WatchGuard bought in March, are now available to all of the company’s partners while membership in the WatchGuardONE partner program is now open to former Panda resellers.

One new offering walks partners through the process of creating NetSuite-based solutions for customers in narrowly defined industries. The other gives resellers of products like NetSuite’s email marketing system and PSA solution an easier route into the vendor’s channel.

The new offering, which features just two membership tiers and a simplified discount structure, is designed to be both easier for partners to understand and more profitable for them to join.

The tech giant’s sales climbed at the start of its current fiscal year and dipped more recently, resulting in essentially unchanged results for the last six months. Vertical industry solutions and work-from-home upgrades are among bright spots for what’s next.

The vendor’s new IGNITE! partner program is designed to grab a hunk of the enormous, barely penetrated market for UCaaS services.

Offered at no additional cost, the new service provides 24/7 online care from board-certified physicians. Community members learned about the program last week at the organization’s online MSP Connect Live conference (pictured).
