The portable product packs in ATX motherboard support, cooling, and more.†
Cooler Master is at it again, delivering another nifty case for your PC-building pleasure. The HAF XB is a LAN box that packs in full ATX motherboard support, modular features, portability, and cooling options.
Inside, the HAF XB can support up to two 120mm fans in the front, a 200mm fan in the top, and both a 120mm and two 80mm fans in the rear. There are also a ton of little niceties, such steel reinforced side handles for travel and strategically placed cable tie areas to keep clutter to a minimum and maximize the wow factor.
Built with enthusiasts and extreme overclockers in mind, the HAF XB can easily go from the LAN box to the test bench. It has a removable motherboard tray design to make swapping out hardware simple. You can even take the outer shell off, to make all of that tweaking a little easier.
Other features include seven expansion slots for graphics cards, space for up to six 2.5-inch drives, and dual X-Dock slots for mounting hot-swappable 3.5- or 2.5-inch drives. Last, but certainly not least, a front I/O panel delivers easy access to two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and an audio in/out jack.
Cooler Master is selling the HAF XB now. It’s currently available through a variety of retailers, such as Amazon, for $99.99.
