Chip Shot: Intel Releases Improved Software Development Suites
Today, Intel released updates to two flagship development suites: IntelÆ Cluster Studio XE 2013 and IntelÆ Parallel Studio XE 2013. These integrated suites help C++ and Fortran developers create better performing applications for the latest Intel processors and coprocessors, including Haswell-EP, Broadwell and IntelÆ Xeon PhI coprocessors. Updates include better compiler and library performance, additional Windows* development support, and standards integration for OpenMP 4.0, MPI 2.x, Fortran 2003 & 2008 and C++ 11.

Intel has received industry accreditation for a state-of-the-art wireless certification lab in Oregon. The lab is a multi-million dollar facility where Intel tests the conformance of its wireless products to 2G, 3G and 4G network standards. The lab has been granted C-RTO (Conformance – Recognized Test Organization) status by the Global Certification Forum (GCF). This lets Intel self-certify its wireless products, speeding time to market.
