As ChannelPro reported earlier, MSP Remote Monitoring & Management—the product known as MAX RM before Austin, Texas-based SolarWinds Worldwide LLC bought LOGICnow in June—now interoperates with the former SolarWinds N-able’s MSP Anywhere remote control solution.
Users of the onetime LOGICnow RMM tool are the primary beneficiaries of that change, according to Pagliuca, because it gives those who want it an alternative to TeamViewer, the remote control system from Permira Holdings Ltd. that was previously their sole option. But by lessening its dependence on a third-party vendor, SolarWinds MSP came out ahead too.
“I like to control my destiny [and] control my roadmap,” Pagliuca says.
