Adoption of cloud solutions is through the roof this year, as are attacks on the often poorly secured endpoints and networks used by work-from-home employees. Both trends neatly dovetail with landmarks on the SolarWinds MSP roadmap that long predate COVID-19, however.
“The pandemic hasn’t changed our thesis at all,” Pagliuca says. “To be honest, what it’s done is kind of accelerated our thesis.”
In practical terms, that means partners can expect to see “a big push for more security offerings” in 2021, he adds, and more help with the challenges of administering SaaS applications.
“You’ll see us pivot a little bit more toward helping our MSPs with cloud management,” Pagliuca suggests.
