Security vendors let loose their first salvo of product news today at the 2018 RSA Conference, which is currently underway in San Francisco. Here’s a look at some of the biggest announcements.
Newly unveiled security additions to Office 365 and its sibling Microsoft 365 include:
Microsoft Secure Score, a new service designed to help administrators ensure that necessary controls and all the latest patches are in place both for Office 365 solutions and on endpoint devices by aggregating security readiness information from across the network and displaying it in a central console.
Attack Simulator for Office 365 Threat Intelligence, a vulnerability assessment technology that simulates phishing attacks and brute force password guessing exercises to expose potential weaknesses in an organization’s defenses before they create real-world problems. In public preview since February, the system is now part of the Microsoft 365 productivity and security suite.
