“This acquisition makes ConnectWise the clear frontrunner in the space. I think the focus on security, solving partner problems, and some key acquisitions is solid. I particularly find getting the TSP-ISAO started and keeping it an independent organization is an impressive commitment to the betterment of the community.
“From a long-term partner of ConnectWise, the addition of Continuum to the mix is like inviting the former competition to the space. I do have a lot of respect for what Continuum accomplished and I am pretty excited about the BrightGauge components of this deal. Also, I was part of the proof of concept testing for ConnectWise on ITBOOST and I think that product is a very good answer to IT Glue’s dominance in the documentation space. The integrations and new innovation they are working on will be game changing.
“Overall, I see this as a big shift in the space and only the integration work to be done over the next one to two years will really tell me what this is going to mean to my business.”
