The new Yoga S940 is a 14" 2-in-1 with razor-thin bezels and a host of smart features to make computing private and secure. Thanks to onboard AI, the S940 can automatically filter out ambient noise and blur out backgrounds during video calls. Also, the Yoga S940’s AI sensors can detect your absence and auto-lock the display to protect your data from unwanted eyes or alert you when a nosey neighbor is shoulder surfing from your screen.
The C730 is all about presentation, upping the screen size to 15 inches and an optional (highly recommended) 4K AMOLED display, and packing JBL speakers and Dolby Atmos. The AMOLED display is brilliant, offering a noticeably more vivid viewing experience, better color clarity and contrast, and emits less harmful blue light. It also sports 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, Windows Ink™ for digital pen input, Windows Hello for instant log-in, and more.
It's unusual to find the Yoga brand on anything other than a fold-over 2-in-1, but makes sense on the A940, essentially Lenovo's answer to Microsoft's Surface Studio. Lenovo says it's for digital content creators, featuring a large 27-inch optional 4K IPS touchscreen display with Dolby Vision® on a rotating hinge that enables the display to tilt to a comfortable 25-degree drafting mode. It also features the Lenovo Precision Dial (think Surface Dial) and digital smart pen.
