It’s a good bet that most of your customers will have a CRM solution, and another good bet that it will be either Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, McBain says. Getting one of your techs certified in a product like that could be a big win, he adds.
“You can actually deploy that person for thousands of dollars per day,” McBain says. “For example, Salesforce doesn’t really have a channel program, but they will help you hire somebody. They will help you certify them for free. They’ll help do the onboarding. There’s a six-month backlog right now of finding good Salesforce people in every city across North America. …Every customer you bump into is going to be doing something around their customer experience on top of Salesforce. So that person can almost be plugged in immediately.”
