Ricoh fi-8040 Workgroup Document Scanner
For some customers, like those in healthcare and government, scanning documents can be a regular, critical, and often time-consuming endeavor. Setting up customers with a hot new workgroup scanner could improve their processes and boost productivity. One hot new scanner to consider is Ricoh’s compact fi-8040, sporting a wealth of innovative features optimized for shared environments.
The integrated 4.3-inch touchscreen makes its DirectScan functionality simple and intuitive, eliminating the need for a PC as part of the workflow. Storage locations and scanning configurations can be set in advance so users can quickly scan directly to network folders, FTP/FTPS/SFTP servers, and send scans directly to email. It does it quickly too, scanning clear images at 40 pages per minute, or 80 per minute at 200/300 dpi.
