Yesterday, AMD officially parted the curtains on the third generation of its EPYC data center processor. Capable of delivering a 19% instructions-per-clock improvement over previous-generation units, the chip maker says, the EPYC 7003 Series is optimized for high-performance computing, cloud computing, and other demanding workloads.
According to AMD, the new processor family will power some 100 new platforms from leading OEMs by the end of this year. Here’s a look at a few of those forthcoming products.
