The dual-socket models become available this month; the single-socket units arrive in June.
In addition, new ThinkAgile VX Series hyperconverged infrastructure solutions running VMware vSAN storage virtualization software are coming in the second quarter of the year:
- The ThinkAgile VX3575-G, which is designed for VDI and AI applications, will support up to eight NVIDIA GPUs.
- The ThinkAgile VX5575 is a 2U unit meant for use with email, analytics, and other high-capacity storage solutions.
- The ThinkAgile VX7575 and ThinkAgile VX7576, also 2U devices, are optimized for analytics solutions, databases, and other high-performance workloads.
Lenovo is also updating its Nutanix-based Lenovo ThinkAgile HX hyperconverged infrastructure series with models featuring EPYC 7003 Series chips. The ThinkAgile HX3375 and ThinkAgile HX3376 will ship in the third quarter of the year.
“Organizations are accelerating their IT infrastructure transformation and shifting investments to focus on more agile edge-to-cloud solutions,” said Kamran Amini, vice president and general manager of server, storage, and software-defined infrastructure for Lenovo’s Data Center Group, in prepared remarks. “Customers have the advantage of partnering with Lenovo and our consulting services team to take advantage of the latest technologies that drive IT modernization and gain faster insights with Lenovo’s new top performing ThinkSystem and ThinkAgile portfolio powered on AMD EPYC 7003 Series processors.”
