Managed service providers have figured prominently in Eaton’s partner strategy since at least 2019, when the company announced plans to add an MSP track to its PowerAdvantage partner program. COVID-19, however, disrupted those plans, as it did so much else.
“The pandemic hit and many things got, I would say, messed up, including this MSP program that has not been launched,” Tardy notes.
Not yet, anyway. Eaton is back at work on an MSP partner offering, and expects to have something with financial heft behind it up and running by the end of the year.
“We’re going to make investments in terms of our professional resources, in terms of pricing, in terms of catering assets to your needs,” Loeb tells MSPs.
