With increased use of mobile devices and public Wi-Fi networks, moreover, comes increased vulnerability to cybercrime. “The more you lean on a cloud platform, the more you need to protect your endpoints, because those are now the entry way to all of your data,” Worthen observes.
Indeed, DiMarco is seeing the rise of mobility and cloud computing fuel sales of security solutions and services.
“Our VARs are spending a ton of time upgrading firewalls [and] deploying security policies inside end user organizations,” he says.
