Eager to strike while the market is hot, D&H is investing heavily in partner enablement. The company is on track to make close to $390 million of incremental monthly downstream credit available to partners by the close of its current fiscal year this April, and has added over 150 people, chiefly in sales and technology support roles, since the start of 2021. There are another 84 job listings open right now.
“I don’t see it slowing down,” says Schwab of the hiring spree.
This month, meanwhile, D&H officially introduced a new peer-to-peer community for VARs and MSPs. Called Partnerfi and modeled after a similar offering launched last year for partners in the education vertical, the new program includes expanded credit benefits through finance partner DLL, discounts on D&H services, and access to a quarterly menu of exclusive pre- and post-sales training classes. An expanded version of the company’s Success Path program called Success Path Premier will deliver additional training, along with and practice-building advice in unified communications, ProAV, security, and other categories.
“The intent is to really be able to maximize engagement and enablement opportunities,” says Casey Bartow, D&H’s director of communities and partnerships.
Bartow, who expects D&H to enroll 300 to 500 Partnerfi members this year, notes that though every partner is welcome to apply (via email) for inclusion, not all of them will get it. “We want to make sure that those that are a part of the community are actively involved,” she says. “While it may not be possible all 12 months out of the year, we want to make sure that they are contributing in some form or fashion.”
