“You don't have to be a complete movie buff to like it, but it was pretty fascinating to learn what a disaster it was making [The Godfather] movie and how many real-life gangsters are actually in that movie. And how the studio, which was Paramount, was going broke [and] had to pay the Mafia in New York and [mob boss] Joe Colombo in particular, to be able to even make the film. So, it was a lot of fun, and it was really interesting. And I don't know how Francis Ford Coppola survived and then even made a second one because of the amount of stress that he was under during that whole movie. … An entertaining read.”
