Hyper Sales Growth, Jack Daly (ForbesBooks, 2014)
Two channel pros, Barb Paluszkiewicz, CEO of Toronto-based CDN Technologies, and Tom Glover, president of the Georgia branch of Responsive Technology Partners, recommend Jack Daly’s book on growing quickly and profitably. “Essentially, this gave me a great scorecard on how to interact with different personality types,” Paluszkiewicz says. “It's a great book on communication styles ….and when you're in sales, you're communicating information to all different types of personalities.” Glover adds that the book helped him tweak their sales training process. “He had some really, really good information on how a sales manager can better manage that group and train them from early on, [from] having them shadow you through the sales process to letting them kind of lead it and you shadow them and … not provide any input until the end of the day.”
