NETSCOUT Systems Inc. has linked its InfiniStreamNG (ISNG) and Arbor Networks Spectrum solutions in a bid to provide comprehensive real-time and historical data on network security through a single dashboard.
Available as both a virtual and hardware-based appliance, ISNG analyzes wire data in real time to provide a contextual view of service, network, and application performance. Arbor Networks Spectrum, meanwhile, taps into the Arbor Networks Active Threat Level Analysis System (ATLAS), a global threat intelligence infrastructure that monitors over one-third of all internet traffic, to provide graphical information on network and threat activity.
Together, according to Burlington, Mass.-based NETSCOUT, the two now integrated systems provide pervasive attack campaign visibility across users, applications, protocols, and network flow data.
“With ISNG, we are now delivering what IT, network and security teams have been craving during a time of profound technology disruption—a greater level of simplicity along with more visibility and control over their distributed environments,” said Anil Singhal, president and chief executive officer of NETSCOUT, in a press release. “With the integration of Arbor Networks Spectrum advanced threat capabilities, ISNG customers can leverage their investment in NETSCOUT solutions to encompass all aspects of IT and security operations across the enterprise, public sector, and service provider markets.”
NETSCOUT released a packet flow visibility solution that runs on white box switches, instead of its own hardware, last month.
