Why settle for being good at sales, marketing, operations, and service delivery, asks Keith Lubner, when you can be great instead.
“2018 should be the year you resolve to consistently perform at elite levels,” says Lubner, who is co-founder and managing partner of channel enablement and acceleration firm Channel EQ. Top performers do two things consistently, he continues: obsessively pursue excellence in specific business functions and continually raise the intensity with which they perform those tasks.
“By increasing activity levels, they get more out of everything [they do],” Lubner notes. Embrace both of those habits, by perfecting your sales pitch and delivering it more often for example, and you’re bound to get results.
“If you get really good at your message and then up your game with prospecting calls, you will create more in the pipeline as a result,” Lubner says.
