Only one thing has changed about the SMB technology market in the last year. All of it.
Indeed, thanks to COVID-19, one-time office workers have been clocking in from home for more than a year at this point. Their employers continue to invest not only in the mobile hardware and cloud applications that make work-from-home computing possible but the security solutions that allow employees to connect with business resources safely.
“They’re asking questions about security and risk and compliance and continuity, governance, and all of the managed services that come around this new remote typology is a massive opportunity for the channel,” said Jay McBain (pictured), Forrester’s principal analyst for channel partnerships & alliances, at distributor D&H’s latest online THREADcast event today.
Over the course of that two-day conference, D&H managers discussed the remote work opportunity and a range of others. Here’s a look at five particular markets they highlighted.
