IT network tools are a must have for your mobile device. Anything can happen from the time you get into work and beyond. You cannot be expected to stay at your computer at all times, and without 100 percent of your attention to your network, there is no way you can guarantee that you have complete control over your environment. With mobile network tools, specifically server management and monitoring apps, you can make sure that you are on top of your network no matter your location. For this round-up I looked for apps that give you control over what your network is doing and notify you when your network is in need of attention. As an added app, I also included an app that allows you to monitor your devices data access — even down to packet updates and monitoring. While server management apps can be free, some apps require a subscription to different services as a prerequisite for the apps to communicate with your device. The apps to look out for, like PC Monitor, are not only free, but allow for server monitoring without a subscription. However, apps without subscriptions to server management software do not always have the same functionality and features as their more expensive peers. While the apps in this slideshow might not be advantageous for everyone, there is sure to be an app that will meet your needs. Finding the right server management app is up to your specific situation.
