Given the steep plunge in GDP this year following months of stay-at-home orders and business restrictions, it’s only natural to assume that many MSPs are hurting financially. Yet most of those attending Channel Strong events, at any rate, have yet to feel serious pain.
“Of the MSPs that we’ve interviewed so far at each spot, most are saying that things are not bad,” Bardissi reports. Some are even growing a little. “More or less, they’re status quo.”
Millions of Americans are less fortunate, though, so Channel Strong visitors are asked to bring two cans of food along with them for donation to local charities. “We’ve probably donated several dozen cases of food along the way,” Bardissi says.
