XFX Triple Monitor Stand (TRIS-STAND) Review

Whether you are a gamer or just an enthusiast who likes to have a lot of working space having a monitor stand that supports three monitors at a time is cool enough in itself, but when you get ergonomics and aesthetics combined with the ability to use 24’’ monitors at a sub $400.00 price range, you get a solid winner for any user. By Elric Phares

In the gaming world, bigger is better, just ask the geeks and tech hounds who covet the very idea of large screen or multi monitor gaming. The higher the resolution, the bigger your bragging rights are in the realm of virtual reality and the only way to get higher resolutions is through your choice of video card, and your monitor setup. Once you get yourself the latest pixel pumping powerhouse money can buy, where do you get the actual equipment to take advantage of this new PC muscle? This is where the hardcore get separated by the cash poor as buying into any monitor or multi monitor setup is not cheap, its not like buying a new car, but the cost will be over a $1000.00 for any 30’’ monitor (2560X1600) or in the $700.00 range for a 21.5’’ Triple monitor stand (4800X900).

That said, resolutions on either of these setups is going to be way above the standard 1920X1200 resolution that most Television’s and 27’’ and below monitors are capable of handling. In the real world, you get what you pay for and both quality and ease of use follow right into line with how something looks. The new XFX triple monitor stand is of a variety different than that of other in this same price point, as the ability to use three 24” monitors has only been seen on stands at a higher markup price. This is one of the key aspects that set this product apart from its peers as is the high-tech savvy look and the ease in which the unit can be fully assembled.  I was very eager to get this new stand up and going and since I already have 3 Asus 21.5 monitors from a previous review I was ready to begin my journey into XFX land and have some fun.
