When I think about Silverstone what comes to mind are the huge Raven, Fortress and Temjin chassis that get so much attention. I had hoped this case would take advantage of their 90' rotated motherboard tray, but that is really the only place where this case disappointed me.
The original TJ04 was in need of an update and Silversone definitely improved upon it with the all black interior, moving the front I/O to the top of the case, the new HDD cooling system and the additional six 2.5" drive bays. After seeing this TJ04-E Evolution I'm interested to see what else Silverstone can dream up when they revisit other cases in their back catalog. This chassis maintains the Silverstone quality and attention to detail, but in a smaller form factor that some of the other cases that have helped to make Silverstone famous.
The TJ04-E is unassuming from the outside, but the inside has a lot of potential. You can fit a XL-ATX motherboard, graphics cards up to 17"", nine 3.5" drives, six 2.5" drives and four 5.25" drives in this case. If you are looking for a clean elegant case with maximum storage potential this case is a definite winner.
Silverstone has done a great job reinventing one of their older cases while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the original. The TJ04-E comes in two versions: one with the side panel window for $159.99 MSRP and one without the side panel window for $149.99 MSRP.
