Sapphire has taken the HD 6870 to the next level with the Toxic HD 6870 card. The card overclocks very well with clock speeds exceeding 1GHz attained using Sapphire’s TriXX utility. The performance of the card is outstanding even at the default settings as the card is clocked 70MHz higher than the reference core clock and 100MHz higher than the memory clock.
