Sapphire HD 7770 Vapor-X GHZ Edition Review And Benchmarks

I game daily and if I was looking for a good all purpose card I would be hard pressed not to look at the Sapphire Vapor-X 7770 as it just works. By Elric Phares

There are many things to consider with a system upgrade, such as what will I gain from the upgrade or which part should I upgrade or even more so at what level should I upgrade the selected component to?  In many cases the graphics card is the target of the upgrade path as new games always demand more firepower and even newer features to unlock the games full pretty factor.  All too often I find myself getting into the EPEEN race by trying to shove as many of the top cards as I can fit into a system the cost be damned.

Well there is a whole market of gamers who just want to be able to play their games without jumping into the EPEEN measuring contest and AMD knows this and has a whole grouping of cards that are more cost efficient but still offer some features that could blow away your favorite games. Many games these days can play very well on lower end midrange cards without a hitch as long as you are not looking to crank the game to the maximum (ULTRA) detail level and across a super high res or multiple displays.  That being said Sapphire just happens to offer one of these cards in the HD 7770 Vapor-X Edition. This is the card we have in our hands today now let’s dive in and see what it has to offer and then how it performs in some of today popular real world gaming environments and benchmarks.
