The battle between AMD and NVIDIA is a long raging one with each side taking the lead and then surpassing the other in leapfrog style action over and over with no end in sight. This is probably the only War effort I will ever support as at the sales counter this War equates to better pricing for every end-user in existence. The AMD 7970 Series of cards is the Top Dog of the approved by AMD card lineup and other than a rogue 7990 are the best cards you can get on the AMD side of the fence.
ASUS has their own flair and snazzy cooling that sets them apart from their peers and this series of card is the Direct CU series that also includes Top models for extensive overclocking ability. High quality parts, and their own CPU Tuning software make ASUS in general appealing to the end user and having Mr. ASUS JJ himself as their spokesperson makes them have a person on point who actually knows the product better than the reviewers themselves, which really improves the review game. We have run these cards in almost every type of instance Single, Double and Triple SLI style and scaling was very good when realized in the application or game your running. There is really a whole lot of information to cover so let’s dig in and started shall we?
