Unified communications solutions provider Zultys has released the latest version of its Mobile Communicator.
The Zultys Mobile Communicator 2.0 brings the built-in SIP softphone function to the Android platform. The softphone feature, available over Wi-Fi connection, enables cost savings to SMBs by reducing phone charges while increasing productivity.
Rather than using costly paid minutes to make business calls, employees can now connect to a Wi-Fi network and use the softphone option to make voice calls over the Internet connection. †
The latest Mobile Communicators application, also available for iPhone, iPad, and BlackBerry, provides remote and mobile employees with unified communication benefits. It enables mobile workers to access their company’s phone directory, view co-workers availability, and send secure chat messages directly from the application.

Version 2.0 of Zultys Mobile Communicator for Android is now available as a free download from the Google Play Store. A mobile access license from Zultys is required.
Existing users of the Zultys Mobile Communicator for Android can download the upgrade at any time. Zultys MX system running MX Release 7.2.4 or later firmware is required.
