TomTom WORK launches WORK Active

Navigation innovation is aimed at companies offering live services, supplying communication, route and efficiencies analysis, and monitoring features.

TomTom WORK, the B2B division of TomTom, has announced the availability of its WORK Active to the U.S. market.TomTom GO 7000

WORK Active is a connected navigation solution for businesses offering live services. It also features enhanced fleet monitoring and reporting capabilities.

TomTom WORK Active provides such real-time services as TomTom Traffic, which helps company drivers avoid traffic jams and detours.

“In a dynamic service or delivery environment it is important for fleet managers and drivers to have as much real-time information at their disposal as possible,” says Michael Geffroy, vice president of sales at TomTom WORK. “TomTom WORK Active is a significant improvement to our solution.”

TomTom WORK Active consists of three integrated products:

  1. TomTom GO 7000–A navigation device for professional drivers. The device provides real-time traffic and intelligent routing, including TomTom’s proprietary IQ Routes Technology, which calculates the most efficient route for any given time of day and day of week.
  2. LINK 300–A GPS-receiver and a GSM-/GPRS-module. It provides a connection between an office and its workforce with ntegrated GPS- and GSM-antenna and Bluetooth.
  3. WEBFLEET Platform–An online application for fleet and order management.
