Maverick AV Solutions, a division of Clearwater, Fla.-based distributor Tech Data Corp., has signed a distribution agreement with Zoom Video Communications. The agreement positions Maverick as partner in Zoom's efforts to expand its global footprint, beginning with North America and Europe, add new customers, and sell more Zoom Rooms, the vendor's workplace collaboration solution.

Maverick AV Solutions will draw on its global network of collaboration vendors to build solutions with Zoom that help integrators create intuitive meeting room systems. The Zoom platform integrates with a wide array of hardware systems, allowing businesses to utilize existing room equipment or upgrade to create an experience tailored to their meeting and collaboration style. It is designed for use anywhere from small focus rooms and offices to world-class training and broadcasting centers.
