Tech Data Adds New Cisco Solutions Services

The distributor adds build-to-order configurations, system engineering support, forecasting and stocking capabilities, and enablement programs in support of Cisco’s B-Series blade servers and C-series rack servers.

Distributor Tech Data Corp. has added several new services to its Cisco Solutions Group offering, including Cisco’s Unified Computing Systems (UCS) B-Series blade servers and C-series rack servers. In addition, it has added build-to-order configurations, increased system engineering support, forecasting and stocking capabilities, and customizable enablement programs.

The Cisco UCS offering is available immediately to Tech Data’s channel of resellers.

“Tremendous opportunity lies within the channel for Cisco and Tech Data, specifically in the data center space,” says Angie Beltz, Tech Data’s vice president of the Cisco Solutions Group. “The addition of Cisco’s UCS B-Series and C-Series server configuration capability to the Cisco Solutions Group at Tech Data helps to further accelerate our Cisco partners to market.”
